COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
In June, groups of WE volunteers, including judges, attorneys, and friends of the legal community, donate their time and talents to aid and support dozens of Chicagoland agencies which provide social services to women and children facing challenges. Activities may include direct service tasks such as painting, building, gardening or cleaning. If requested, educational seminars are offered on topics such as interviewing skills, expungements, housing help, etc.

2021 VIRTUAL SERVICE PROJECT MONTH
“W.E.” HOPE THIS EMAIL FINDS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HEALTHY AND SAFE. WHILE THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC CONTINUES TO LIMIT OUR ABILITY
TO SERVE OTHERS IN PERSON, WOMEN EVERYWHERE: PARTNERS IN SERVICE (W.E.) WILL NOT LET THAT STOP US FROM FULFILLING OUR MISSION OF CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN NEED THROUGH EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICE. W.E. ARE EXCITED TO SHARE THAT, FOR 2021 OUR ANNUAL SERVICE PROJECT MONTH IS VIRTUAL—ONLINE! DURING THIS TRYING TIME, SHELTERS, SAFE HOUSES, AND OTHER NON-FOR-PROFITS PROVIDING ESSENTIAL SERVICES TO WOMEN AND CHILDREN ARE EXPERIENCING AN INCREASED DEMAND AND A SHORTAGE OF SUPPLIES.
EVERY TUESDAY IN JULY, BEGINNING JULY 13TH, W.E. WILL BE HIGHLIGHTING THREE AGENCIES THROUGHOUT OUR COMMUNITY THAT NEED YOUR SUPPORT, NOW MORE THAN EVER. EACH AGENCY HAS PROVIDED US WITH A UNIQUE WAY TO VIRTUALLY SUPPORT THEIR SERVICES INCLUDING ONLINE GIVING, AMAZON WISH LISTS, AND VIRTUAL PROJECT SUPPORT.
We have attached the schedules of service for July 13th, July 20th, and July 27th for the designated not-for-profit agencies so that your bar association can choose which agencies it would like to work with.
